Christmas Tag || Blogmas # 10 ❄

Hey Guys!

As some of you may know, we have asked you on our Instagram @wandering_waffles that we are going to do a Christmas Q&A post. Firstly, Thank you guys, for all of the support and amazing questions you have sent to us! ❤

The majority of the questions were related to LDR, about us, travelling, dancing and not so much related to Christmas. So, we decided to make that post after the Blogmas series is over.

Meanwhile, we came across something which looked pretty interesting. The Christmas Tag. 20 sweet and short Christmas question, to prepare for the upcoming holiday. We found in google on Root Report –  really amazing and interactive page, definitely pay a visit.

CHRISTMAS TAG

Question: Use one noise to describe how excited you are for Christmas.

Answer Issy: Oh oh… Eeeeeeep!!!!!!!!

Answer Rishabh: Ho Ho Ho! 😛

Question: What is your favourite Christmas movie?

Answer Issy: If i have to choose one favourite movie, then it will definitely be the  “Miracle on 34th Street”. The touching story of a lawyer and a little girl who have to prove in court that a man who claims to be Santa is actually the real Santa ❤

Answer Rishabh: An absolute all time favourite is “Home Alone”. It just revives the childhood memories.

Q: Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Issy: Oh Yes! But, unfortunately from the last few years, because of the change in the climate, the good and long-lasting snow usually falls around New Year’s Eve

Rishabh: No, never. I would really love to and this is one of the things I really crave to experience.

Q: Where do you usually spend your holiday?

Issy: I usually spend my holidays at home or with friends and dance crew!

Rishabh: As boring as it sounds, at my home only. In India, Christmas isn’t that huge.

Q: What is your favourite Christmas song?

I:  I am from those kinds of people who don’t have just one favourite thing. A few of my favourites you can check in our Christmas Playlist Blogmas post 😉

R: I am sure my answer will be pretty much the same as Issy’s. I don’t have just one favourite. Check out the playlist.

Q: Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

I:  Actually, being Russians, in my family we don’t gift presents on Christmas but on New Year ’s Eve. So basically – nope, I haven’t

R: As I mentioned it above, unfortunately in India Christmas is not such a big deal and we don’t have the presents tradition.

Q: Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

I: Well, I know Rudolph, because yeah… this is Rudolph. But also I remember two more Donner and Blitzen, from the Two and a Half Men episode with Allan’s crazy Christmas fanatic girlfriend (probably the best episode from season 3). “Donner, Blitzen! Donner, Blitzen! Donner, Blitzen! 😀 )

R: Just Rudolph.

Q: What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

I: It is definitely the decoration time. We usually do that on 24th in the morning so I am really looking forward to it <3

R: Being with her.

Q: Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

I: Real. I know a lot of you would say that I am not environment-friendly – but Christmas is not the same if there is no Christmas tree smell. The whole Christmas just seems fake to me.

R: No trees :(!

Q: What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?

I: My all-time favourite holiday sweet treat is definitely a sweet dish know as baklava. And of course the Sarmichki with rice and Chushki s bob (stuffed peppers with kidney beans).

R: Chocolate Truffle Cake. Something, what really gives me a festive feel.

Q: Be honest: Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I: I like both. But I have to be honest, there is nothing like gifting and seeing peoples reaction. Pure joy ❤

R: Definitely Giving. Seeing my loved ones being happy is something I relish.

Q: What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

I: Well… this one is the hardest. You know gifts are based on the phase you are right now, so something that I was really eager to get a few years back seems not that exciting now. So it is difficult to say.

R: HER (yet to receive though :D)! hehehe… wait! Ho ho ho 😛

Q: What is the worst Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

I: It was a really really really ugly souvenir in the form of Santa and his reindeers that I got from Secret Santa in 9th grade. I was literally horrified and it broke “accidentally” a few weeks after.

R: Never received any gifts yet.

Q: What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I: Being in LDR, of course, the dream place is to be with Him, no matter where. But I always wanted to visit the USA for the holiday season, just because the festive spirit there is something way bigger than here.

R: I know that at Issy’s hometown in Russia, during Christmas it is getting really amazing. That definitely is my dream place to visit!

Q: Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I:  I can’t say I am a pro, but I really like when the presents except for being special also look special and beautiful. So I put my whole effort when packing things.

R: Issy will deny this, but I can wrap really good! *Chup krr, Issy!*

Q: Most memorable Holiday moment?

I:  I think it is yet to come.

R: Still waiting for it….

Q: What made you realise the truth about Santa?

I: Once I just found the presents in one of the wardrobes, so my parents were forced to tell me the truth ;(. It was a really sad moment.

R: Well I can just say that I was smart enough to know! he he he

Q: Do you make New Year’s resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I: I always do and then never stick to them for more than 3 months. It is just soo hard sometimes.

R: I do. But fail to stick to them.

Q: What makes the holiday special for you?

I: Lights. Lots of small and big lights. And definitely to spend it with the most loved ones. ❤

R: The loved ones and the Aura of the Festival.

Q: You have been granted one Christmas wish…what will it be?

I: My wish now is really really obvious – I want to be with Him for more than 2 weeks and more than twice a week.

R: Without any doubt, start treasuring my life with her. As soon as I can.
